Did the earth move for you?

Well, that was different. To be woken at 1am by the house shaking and a most terrifying noise is not my idea of a peaceful nights sleep! However, I think, that even more terrifying is the realisation that, in earthquake terms, 5.2 is a tiddler and therefore, what must it be like in other countries where the quakes are bigger and stronger and the houses, maybe, a lot less solid? What was your experience? I think I shall view any future Earth Quakes around the world in a new light and the consequent Appeal for relief with a more understanding and generous heart. I would have liked to have thought that I would have reacted in this way anyhow, but sometimes a shock is what is needed to help us see how lucky we realy are.
